Road to 100% Collections! – Baby Steps

cStick here! As I mentioned in an earlier post, I’m going to be looking to get 100% items on the ‘Collections’ category in the game, in as little time as possible. My mark is to be somewhere near 85% by the end of the first year. I’m not really sure how long this is actually going to take, or even if its doable on the first year. But let’s give it a try!

An update just like this will come out every Sunday from now on, until I’m finished with the challenge. If you see me struggling and know something about the game that I don’t or could be doing better, leave a comment so I can check it out!

Stardew Valley Tips and Tricks for Beginners!

Hey, cStick here! As I was playing through my first month of Stardew Valley I realized that there’s actually a lot of things to do in the game, and sometimes you may feel that the in-game days pass by too quickly for you to fully grasp and achieve all you want, especially if you’re new to this kind of games. Stardew Valley v1.1

It’s cStick again. As I mentioned on my first post, I’m going to start playing Stardew Valley (from scratch), after briefly playing it when it first came out, now that some new stuff was added on the recent v1.1 patch. Before I start playing and blogging about it, I wanted to let you in on some things that were added recently.

First, I should begin by explaining that in Stardew Valley your character has 5 different areas that you can improve as you progress through the game: farming, mining, combat fishing and foraging. You improve each of these skills by doing certain activities related to them in your every day game life: you’ll improve your combat skill if you fight, as you’ll improve your farming skill by tending to your crops and animals.

Here goes!

cStick here! Welcome to my blog. This is my first post here, and it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now. The main reason for this is an opportunity to fully learn English (since Spanish is my first language). But I also want to take advantage of this platform and share with everyone different things gaming-related, mostly about the games I play and stuff.

Since I play mostly on PC, and I don’t have a very good one at the moment,  most of this will be low req gaming. As I’m writing this post I’m also downloading Stardew Valley from GOG.com. I’ve already played a little bit of it, but I’m coming back to it and starting from scratch after reading about the new great content that was patched recently.
